We offer a variety of accommodation options for both small and large groups. You can stay comfortably in our holiday apartments or cottages, all clean and well-equipped. Each apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, fireplace, and a spacious terrace.
In addition to your own sauna, a lakeside sauna is available for rent during the summer. Cross-country ski trails start right near the accommodation area.
Our on-site restaurant serves delicious meals by pre-order year-round (minimum 15 people). Breakfast is also available for groups of at least 15 people.
We also have the Glass Palace – a glass-built kota with a stunning lake view. You don’t want to miss it!

Rental cottages in Kainuu
- For demanding holidays, we offer 4 high-quality apartments for 4 persons, each with a sauna, available year-round.
- For larger groups, a fully renovated 10–12-person cottage (living room + kitchen + 2 bedrooms) with sauna, available all year.
- At Saukkovaara: 4 log cottages for 5–6 persons.
- 5 camping cabins for 2 persons.
- 2 lakeside cottages for 4–10 persons.
- Apartment with sauna for up to 13 people.
We can accommodate up to 95 guests at once (including 4 accommodation units in Saukkovaara, 4 km away, and a 13-person apartment in the village center).
In a rural setting by the beautiful and fish-rich Lake Iijärvi, right by Highway 5, our idyllic courtyard also features a summer café-restaurant with 40 seats and a kiosk.
In winter, you can go ice fishing directly from your cottage. Snowmobile routes to Paljakka and Sotkamo start nearby. Groomed and illuminated ski trails just 400 meters away.

Caravan camping and accommodation in Kainuu
Our modern service building, lush green camping area, and playground ensure a comfortable and relaxing holiday.
You can swim, fish from the shore, or go rowing. Guests also have access to the kotas and lakeside sauna.
Accommodation outside opening hours is possible 24 hours by phone.
Public sauna hours: Wed and Sat 18:00–20:30.
Private family sauna in the service building: €20 / 50 min.
Caravan area open 8 May – 15 Oct 2025
At other times, camping with electricity is possible, but the service building is closed in winter.
Electric bike and SUP board rentals available from Ristijärvi 4H.
Cottages from €80 / night, Saukkovaara cottages from €70 / night.

In our café-restaurant, you can enjoy meals by order in a cozy atmosphere. Fully licensed bar (A-rights).
In addition to refreshments, we offer ice cream, soft drinks, café products, a small selection of groceries, takeaway beverages (under 8% alcohol), hygiene products, propane gas, mosquito repellent, toys, car supplies, and more.
We also sell local fishing permits and rent trailers.
The restaurant hall can be adapted for groups of 15–50 people.
We organize Christmas parties, birthdays, meetings, weddings, accommodation with catering, and other events — affordably in the heart of Kainuu. The space includes a video projector.
You can also rent the restaurant or “stable pub” for private events without catering.
We offer catering and food delivery services throughout the Kainuu region — ask for a quote!
